Nataša Srdić-Jahn (Serbia)

Was born in Belgrade in 1981. She gained her elementary and high school music education at Isidor Bajić Music School in Novi Sad, where she studied Piano with professors Lidija Gvozdanović and Milena Apić. She embarked on her undergraduate studies at Novi Sad Academy of Arts in the studio of Professor Dorian Leljak and Professor Rita Kinka, completing her undergraduate education at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany), majoring in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Frank-Immo Zichner. After completing her master´s studies in Chamber Music with the highest marks in 2009 at the same institution , where her professors included Ulrich Beetz and Birgit Erichson (members of ABEGG Trio), as well as Larissa Kondratjewa, she also graduated in Piano Pedagogy with distinction, yet again achieving the highest marks. During her studies, she was an active participant in a number of master classes led by such esteemed professors as Arbo Valdma, Rita Kinka, Nevena Popović, Christopher Hogwood, Natalia Arzumanova, and Avedis Kouyoumdjian, among others.

Nataša Srdić-Jahn has won numerous prizes and awards at national and international competitions. In addition to performing as a soloist and a chamber musician in the Balkan region and further abroad (Serbia, Macedonia, England, Scotland,Germany, Italy, France Equator, etc.), she has been active both as a founder and a member of numerous ensembles for moders music in Serbia and Germany, performing regularly on the domestic and international stage for a number years (Italy, Lebanon, Germany, Serbia, etc.). She has made recordings for Vojvodina Radio and Television, and her performances with Ensemble Marges, an ensemble for moders music, have been included in an number of published CD recordings. Nataša Srdić-Jahn is one of the founders of series of French music concerts that have been successfully realized in Novi Sad, Subotica and Belgrade for the past four years with the organizational support of Jeunesse Musicales from Novi Sad, „Electe“ Subotica, Cultural Centre of Belgrade, and the financial support of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and French Institute of Serbia. Since 2009, she has been employed as a piano colloborator at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
